Developed by the National Gallery of Ireland and Russborough House for young people aged 16 to 25, the Apollo project provides a unique opportunity to expand perceptions of art and build lasting relationships. The ambition: to encourage the exploration of art, it’s impact, it’s relevance and it’s future enriching new generations.

The Gallery's Education Department asked DesignWorks to engage with groups of young people to create a brand that would inspire its audiences and communicate the spirit of the project in equal measure.

Informed by both the project's aims and the inputs of the young groups who participated in our creative workshops, we anchored the brand around a simple concept that yields endless possibilities - Art Makes You…

The visual identity for the Apollo Project builds further value in the Gallery brand, transforming the ‘oblique’ of the corporate mark into a platform for expression, experimentation, personalization and creativity.

The potential of art, the programme and young people themselves is expressed in the everchanging mark, supported by the tagline Art Makes You.
