CUBS is the new business school of University College Cork (UCC) and the second largest university business school in Ireland. Building on UCC’s proud tradition of business education, CUBS has an excellent reputation, boasting the highest research income of any business school in Ireland.

In the context of growing competition from publicly funded and private third level institutions, it was vital that CUBS develop a distinct brand reputation and identity. Our work involved an extensive review of the context within which the school operates – including workshops, interviews and competitor analysis – resulting in the creation of a brand model affirming the schools optimum attributes. We defined the proposition for the school, centred around “Bright Thinkers”, and collaborated with Steve Ryan, whose photography underpins the distinctive identity and rich visual language throughout all communications.
