The Irish Heritage Trust is an independent non-profit organisation that works on the nation's behalf 
to conserve, manage, sustainably develop, and interpret built and natural heritage in Ireland.

DesignWorks have first-hand experience of the Trust’s work, and the belief it places in the power of heritage and active participation with local communities. Our appointment to rebrand the Trust followed fruitful engagements to rebrand their signature properties in Johnstown Castle, Strokestown Park and Parnell Square.

Our experience and knowledge was enhanced through our research and strategic brand development process, which captured the Trust’s unique approach, capabilities and aspirations for the future. Our collaboration led us to a brand proposition and expression that confidently and credibly places the Trust at the heart of heritage.

The bonds between Ireland’s rich natural and built heritage and its people are expressed in the distinctive heart motif, derived from the ephemera and architecture of our past.

The organisations unique focus on connection, experiences and participation is brought to life throughout the visual language: it is not only places and spaces, but visitors, volunteers and local communities that are revived and sustained by the work of the Trust.
