Offaly County Council deliver a wide and complex range of services to support the community, economy, culture and tourism in the county. DesignWorks were commissioned to develop a progressive, relevant and meaningful new brand identity to help clearly communicate the role and vision of the Council.

We worked with local stakeholders to define the attributes, assets and values that would resonate with their audiences including; residents, community groups, visitors and investors; and to develop the potential of Offaly through an inclusive, positive and meaningful identity.

The county is known for its wide open spaces – an expansive landscape expressed in the openness and vision of the Council itself. The brand essence ‘Space to Grow’ embodies this openness – inclusiveness, quality of life, opportunity – and a sense of pride in Offaly and the activities of the Council.

The visual identity celebrates the unique landscape and it’s connection to the social, cultural and economic life of the county, replacing an accumulation of brands and uniting a previously fragmented image.
