Since teaming up to refresh the Tolteca brand in 2017, DesignWorks have enjoyed a fruitful relationship with one of Dublin’s favorite fast-casual Mexican restaurants. We were delighted to work on another significant project last year as Tolteca continued to strengthen their brand and build growth in a market fundamentally transformed by the pandemic.

An analysis of consumer trends and an understanding of the shift in hospitality and retail toward home delivery, more flexible spaces and brand partnerships helped to reposition Tolteca and evolve the brand to meet new opportunities.

While remaining synonymous with fresh food quality, Tolteca is tuning in to consumer moods around health, service, convenience, trust and reputation – ensuring its menu, staff, restaurant footprint, food provenance and paths to purchase are all aligned around these key consumer needs.

DesignWorks have redefined their ‘Feel Good Mexican’ positioning, redesigned their pilot store, refreshed their photography library and helped to reinvigorate their online presence. The new integrated digital offer works harder for customers, connects Tolteca to new demographics and provides a blueprint for brand consistency and growth in virtual, hybrid and physical spaces.
