Tourism Ireland was established under the framework of the Belfast Agreement of Good Friday 1998 to market the Island of Ireland overseas.
In 2001 DesignWorks were appointed to provide ongoing brand and design services including the definition and creation of a corporate brand for the new organisation and a promotional brand for Ireland as a destination.
The thoroughness of our brand development process and the craft and vision of the visual identity has supported the brand and the agency to develop and reposition over the course of nearly two decades.
As the industry has grown to become Ireland’s largest indigenous employer, DesignWorks have continued to partner with Tourism Ireland to deliver their brand across corporate, trade and consumer markets.
Most recently we developed their corporate communication guidelines, creating a design system with clarity and flexibility, and comprehensive guidelines to ensure consistent application across all platforms.
